Okay but not sure if this for me

Summary: This product is pretty nice. I like the idea of slightly "cleaner" ingredients. I also like that the bottle is metal (I'm a big fan of reducing the plastic used in consumables). The product made my hair oily and I had to use dry shampoo to fix that issue. The sprayer leaked product which ma...de it challenging to use. The smell is a bit too strong for me. (Minus 1 star for the strong smell and leaky bottle/sprayer). However, in the end, it did soften my hair and help protect the ends from heat damage. The details: I have fine (type 2A) hair. I tend to get a little dry on the ends but my scalp tends to be normal to slightly oily. Argon oil has always been hit or miss for me. This product made my hair extremely oily from root to end. My hair looked wet even after I dried it. It looked like a middle schooler who hadn't showered for a week. I didn't apply very much. However, the bottle did leak the whole time I used it so it probably leaked extra product on my hair. Regardless, it left my hair really oily. I went through with straightening it thinking maybe it needed some heat to activate (like some products do). That didn't resolve the oil-slick issue but I was able to fix it with some dry shampoo. After I applied dry shampoo to mop up the oil, my hair was really soft. The ends were not dry nor brittle. The product also protected my hair from the heat of the straightener. I sometimes get a tad brittle on the ends with other heat protection products but this seemed to really help my hair. I may try applying the product differently in the future. Maybe spraying it into my hands and smoothing it into the ends. I'll continue using it since I don't want to waste but I'm not yet sure if I'll buy it again. The smell is really strong and I'm not a fan. It smells like a mix between a classic hair style product and some super cheap gormund fragrance profile (vanilla, marshmallow, etc). Very od combo in my opinion. For what it's worth, I have a slight fragrance allergy to the gormund scent profile. Between the fragrance not being for me, the leaky spray bottle, and the tendency to make my hair really greasy, I'm torn on this product. The product itself works really good for heat protection and conditioning I'm just not sure if the pros outweigh the cons for me. I also don't know if I would recommend it to a friend because even though the product worked well, the spray bottle was not easy to use and the smell was quite strong.
