 Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm Hyaluronic Acid

This is my first time trying a balm makeup remover, so I have nothing to compare it to. I did use the micellar water version of this exact product prior to trying the balm. To me it does not smell bad. It doesn't have a pretty scent, but honestly applying something to my face I prefer very little to no scents, however there is a very light non pretty scent, but doesn't smell like chemicals or nastiness. I want to say play doh but I don't quite feel that describes it accurately. I wasn't sure if I was thinking this would help me eliminate a double cleanse or not. I was looking for something to help remove my waterproof mascaras so I can avoid rubbing my eyes so much. Prior to this, even when using the micellar water version and soaking a cotton round on my mascara that didn't remove all my mascara. Reviews I read even had other users mentioning this balm removes their waterproof mascaras. Well somebody lying or not telling full truths, because it does a little better than the soaking method of the micellar water, BUT it still leaves considerable amount of mascara residue. I wear the Maybelline Lash Sensational Body Washable Mascara or the Sky High Waterproof Mascara, and still have to follow up with my Cerave Cream to Foam Hydrating Cleanser for my eyes. The rest of my makeup it removes very well and it doesn't require a whole lot of product. The moisturizing/oily feel it leaves behind absorbs into my skin well after several minutes (maybe less than 10 minutes tops). Doesn't leave me dry and tight, and I have normal to dry skin - leaning more normal. I still apply my nighttime skincare routine on it, no issues. I would recommend this with the caveat about the mascara. It's not perfect because of that, but does what it's advertised to do and is a reasonable price point of $10-$12/jar, which you're getting almost double the amount than most other balms offer.

I was influenced to by this product by a video I saw on social media but man I wish they had smell-o-vision. While this product does remove your makeup it also comes with a pungent almost insecticide smell to it. It also leaves a greasy film on your skin which might be the "hydrating" claim. I just feel pushed to use the product since I spent money on it but id stick to micealler water instead.

I've literally had the same tub since November 2024 and i use it every day! A pea size amount is all you need. Clinic makeup remover balm dup 😉

I really love this product! I was using make-up wipes and micellar/cotton pads for years but discovered this cleansing balm and it's been a game changer. My skin feels super hydrated and it doesn't irritate my eyes and it's super gentle. 10/10

Greasier and harder to remove than other cleansing balms I've used. Definitely getting the bang for your buck this thing is HUGE. I just have a hard time getting the oily film off my face after washing, it always feels like there's still a little product left. I definitely chose this product to avoid a double cleanse so that was disappointing. Perfectly fine at removing makeup and cleaning your face, but not as good as a lot of other (smaller) products in the market.
