I've used several other brush cleaner worked. Then my eyeliner brushes weren't as clean. Thought I'd try Clinique. What I have to loose. My brushes look brand new. Color of eyeshadow gone, blush stain gone, eyeliner brushes gone. Brushes look brand new. This is a keeper. I don't normally write reviews but couldn't say more about this great products.

This product seems to work reasonably well at cleaning brushes. I don't use it all that often. I'm mostly a makeup minimalist, so I don't often need to clean my brushes, but when I have used it, my brushes did appear clean. Fast forward maybe a year... I'd like to think that this product would last a while since I'm using it to clean brushes infrequently. Today I was looking for something in my vanity and noticed a pink puddle in my drawer. This bottle of brush cleaner was the culprit. It didn't spill... The product is a solvent and dissolved the bottom of the bottle!!! There was an actual hole in the bottom of the bottle and the product was dripping out! It made a huge mess in the vanity drawer and leaked through to the bottom of the vanity. There was maybe a half inch of cleaner left in the bottle and it had been nearly full when I put it away. Not only was an entire bottle of cleaner wasted, it made a huge mess that I had to clean, and I had to throw away a few lipsticks and eye shadows that got ruined in the mess. Fortunately, it didn't not ruin the vanity! I was lucky -- I found it in time, since I'm in that drawer nearly every day. This product should not be sold in a plastic bottle since it is capable of dissolving plastic!! This also makes me think that I don't want to clean my makeup brushes with it, in the event that there's any residue from the cleaner left on the brush. I sure don't want this stuff touching my skin.

Yes: It works! This product is a winner. The formula really cleans the bristles and helps keep all of my brushes like new. Even the pump is good, with releasing a very controlled amount of spray.
