Wet makeup brush or sponge.
Dispense a small amount of cleaner onto your tool.
Massage brush cleaner into the tool using circular motions until a lather forms.
Rinse tool thoroughly with warm water and lay flat to dry.
Use as needed.

I thought this was going to do most of the cleaning for my sponges and brushes, but I still needed to add regular soap. I just thought I would be able to use just this and they would come out refreshed. However, I don't think it did the best job of cleaning them.
