Matte lipstick
I decided to give this one a try. Color is Ring the alarm. It wasn't the color that I was aiming for, I was hoping for a red, burgundy however this has more of a pink tone to it.

This newest Folio is gorgeous but it is just not quite the same as I remember the Angelina Folio to be. That doesn't mean that it isn't wonderful. It pulls just a tiny bit more yellow than I remember the early 90s Folio, which again isn't bad it just isn't what I was expecting. This looks 100% amazing with a dramatic black smudgey 90s style eye look. I think this (for me) looks best with a clear lip liner. I like the color as is, without a liner providing depth or shading. Although it doesn't seem to be what I remember, I would have definitely worn it in the early 90s. It is still true to that aesthetic.

This lip color looks a lot cooler in the pictures than it does in person. I'm very fair skinned more cool/neutral leaning in complexion. I was hoping that this would look more like the pictures than the product description of "Warm toned light nude beige". However this doesn't mean that all is lost if you're pale and looking for a great nude lip. I use this with the cool spice liner and it tames down the warmth and actually looks very beautiful. I am only giving 3 stars because the pictures aren't true to the lipstick. I think on someone warmer toned this would be fantastic
