Pros & Cons

Let's talk about Pros first. This case is awesome. I love that it's refillable. It feels lovely in my hand and I love the magnetic top! The flat edge of the lipstick is new to me, I don't think I've even had a stick like that. It makes a great line and when I was younger it would have been amazing ...but now that my lips are getting thinner it was a little too wide for my top lip at my Cupid's bow. I also loved that the was no fragrance or flavor at all. A lot of lipstick have weird scents and tastes that turn me off but this was so neutral. The shade was also a red that I really liked. Red can be tough with cool pale skin but I think this one was really good shade for me. Cons. This might just be a me problem as I'm getting older and my lips are thinner and the skin around them is changing also. I don't wear as much makeup as I used too, so I usually just put on a lip color to add a little pop. This is a little tough to put on my shrinking upper lips because of the wide flat tip, which is a bummer because I love how it glides onto my bottom lip. The formula goes on smoothly and feels smooth but it bleeds a lot for me. Not sure if it's the color or the formula that is making it do that. I don't usually use lip liner because I've gotten lazy so I didn't have one in red. I tried a light nude one I have so it doesn't look great. The color sadly does not last long at all. Between the bleed and short time it lasts, it starts out red and bold but starts to look like an are a messy red popsicle a short time later. It might just be a problem with my lip/skin type etc. I really wanted to love this. I might try it in a less bold color to see if it works out better because I do like the the lipstick.
