I bought the Lumos IPL before Christmas 2024 when it was on sale. I have always been someone who HAS to shave her legs DAILY! I started using this as directed. I have actually used it on my arms and legs and my underarms. I was faithful with using it-3 times a week for about the first 5-6 weeks. Then I actually used it once every week or 2 for the next several months. Game changer. My underarms and legs are smooth and make my morning routine so much easier and quicker!

My Lumos IPL lasted a little over 6 months before it quit working. I am writing this review because I was told that I could either send the device back in (I'm assuming at my own cost since nothing was said to the contrary) for "inspection and documentation." IF the device was "determined to be malfunctioning" they'd send me a new one. At the end of the email, was the sentence "Alternatively, we would be happy to send you a replacement in exchange for an honest review of either our service or the device itself." I guess this is one way to get reviews. I was determined I would go about the hair removal by their book. I scrupulously did the 3X/week for the prescribed number of weeks. I did notice a significant reduction in hair. However, I am unable to go the 2 weeks between treatments. It's more like a week. I keep hoping that if I keep after it, I'll be able to go the 2 weeks because both legs takes a l-o-n-g time! I hope MTB will honor their agreement quickly, and that after a few more months I'll have more lasting results. The Lumos worked great until it didn't. It skipped out a 4 or 5 times, then it quit.
