Interesting concept, but takes patience to work with!

This was my first time trying anything from Sacheu Beauty. This Eyeshadow Stay-N caught my eye because ites marketed as being a long-wear crease-proof eyeshadow that also contains skin-loving ingredients such as hyaluronic acid and squalane.I picked up the shade SP-ICE a matte reddish-brown that loo...ked stunning in the tube and when first swatched. It lays down with an applicator that deposits a lot of pigment initially almost too much for direct use on the eye without blending. I found that using my finger worked much better to smudge or diffuse the color though a brush would also work as well. The applicator is really best for the first dab of product.Now letes talk texture and wear. The texture of the eyeshadow immediately reminded me of some Korean lip stainsethin watery and slightly glossy at first application. Despite the claims this is not a quick swipe-and-go formula. It stays wet for a while after you apply it and during that time if you try to blend too soon it sheers out a lot. You actually need to let it sit on your skin for a bit (at least 1e2 minutes) before manipulating it if you want decent pigment payoff. The longer it sits (i.e. 5 minutes or more) the more it sets but even then ites not completely transfer-proof and does break down throughout the day especially on oilier eyelids.Ites also a bit tricky to build up. If you try to layer too quickly or before it sets fully you end up wiping away the first layer instead of intensifying the color. So patience is key here. I still havenet quite nailed down the best method for building intensity but Ieve learned that rushing it definitely doesnet work.As for compatibility with other products it definitely doesnet play well with powders. Since it stays tacky for a while and has that creamy almost glossy texture trying to blend a powder shadow over it often leads to patchiness or uneven application. I think it would work best paired with other cream or liquid shadows especially ones with shimmer.All in all Ied call this an interesting formula that requires a learning curve. If youere someone who enjoys experimenting and has the time to finesse your eye looks you might enjoy it more than someone who needs something quick and foolproof. I wouldnet repurchase these eyeshadows at full price because Iem not in love with the formula; however if I saw the shimmer shades on sale Ied maybe be open to trying them.****Note: The attached picture shows the eyeshadow at varying times. Far right is how it sheers out if you try to blend it right after application. Second is smudging after 2 minutes. Far left is pigment after sitting for 5 minutes undisturbed.Please note that while the far left looks very pigmented ites not the most realistic to believe thates how the shadow will look initially. Once you put it on your eye the second you blink the pigment smears. So in order to achieve that color payoff you would have to apply the pigment and close your eyes while you wait for it to dry. Ites easy to swatch on the hand and claim pigment intensity but it matters what it looks like on the actual eye.
