- Dip the e.l.f. Eyeshadow Brush or e.l.f. Wide Tapered Eyeshadow Brush into Liquid Velvet Eyeshadow (brushes sold separately).
- Gently swipe liquid eyeshadow onto eyelids then use the brush or your fingertip to tap and blend.
- Swipe and blend lightly for a soft, seamless finish.
- For a bolder, more pigmented look, layer Liquid Velvet Eyeshadow onto lids. Let the eyeshadow dry before adding additional layers.

I was hoping this eye shadow would hit the mark of being comparable to the Mario brand, but once it's applied, it takes a significant amount of time before it dries. I purchased 6 colors..I had such high hopes and if just a few worked it would have been worth it.I disliked every color!Very warm, either made me look ill or like I had an eye infection. Didn't blend well,so disappointing. Big miss for elf
Blends like a dream
This goes on opaque and can be sheered out. Definitely build up to keep it cool toned, otherwise it pulls warm.

I love the Elf brand, but this product fell short. I was hoping this eye shadow would hit the mark of being comparable to the Mario brand, but once it's applied, it takes a significant amount of time before it dries. It remains "tacky" to the touch which makes it impossible to not crease as the day goes on. I will say the color is fabulous and it is easy to apply. I do love that the colors are matte. There is a lot to like, but because of the tackiness and that it creases, you're better off spending a higher price with a different brand.
Smooth and pigmented
Went on smooth without looking patchy. Was easy to blend around with my finger tip. I'll be buying other colors.
