e.l.f. Cosmetics Liquid Velvet Eyeshadow

I wanted the cable knit, but they were sold out and I purchased bougee beige. It's got a pink undertone but honestly, it's so much better than I thought it would be. It's matte, drying, and lasts ALL DAY. I had no transfer or smudging. 9/10 and I'd buy it again.

I like the colors and the quick blend out for these. They remind me of a more expensive (MbM) alternative. I like the beige for an eye base, the medium brown as a great all over crease shade and I especially liked Cable Knit as a super quick smoky eye or outer corner color. I've blended them out with a fluffy crease brush and with a finger and I keep one of these in my purse for quick makeup on the go. If you want to put powder shadow over top definitely let it dry fully and set it lightly with a translucent powder first. Then the powder shadow will blend better on top. I've had powder shadow stick to this a bit too hard for good blending. It does last quite well and it doesn't just wipe away as the day goes on. The colors seem rich. I have all but two colors. Occasionally I'll have some odd wear down but more often it wont't budge once its dried down until I take it off at the end of my day. Not bad.

I've been looking for an affordable matte liquid eyeshadow for awhile, and saw that e.l.f. finally released one! I got the shade Extra Toasted and it works really well as a base for my everyday routine (fair to medium skin). It is very easy to blend and stays put throughout my day. I don't use primer or set my makeup everyday and I haven't noticed any creasing. I would look online to what these shades look like on other people, as they can look a little different when fully blended/ sheered out on the lid. I'd highly recommend trying these out and will definitely be purchasing more colors!

patchy, dries so fast and difficult to blend

I thought the cool brown would be more dark (as a cool brown) and the burgundy they are not. The colors are very muddy on me.
