- Dip the e.l.f. Eyeshadow Brush or e.l.f. Wide Tapered Eyeshadow Brush into Liquid Velvet Eyeshadow (brushes sold separately).
- Gently swipe liquid eyeshadow onto eyelids then use the brush or your fingertip to tap and blend.
- Swipe and blend lightly for a soft, seamless finish.
- For a bolder, more pigmented look, layer Liquid Velvet Eyeshadow onto lids. Let the eyeshadow dry before adding additional layers.

Smooth, matte and surprisingly versatile
I actually ended up loving this more than I expected. The texture is super smooth and velvety, and once it dries down it doesn't crease or budge. The color I used was a little too close to my skin tone and slightly ashy on its own, so I used it as a base instead of a standalone shadow and it worked...

For a Dramatic Look
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This eyeshadow is much darker than I usually use but a little bit goes a long way. It takes a while to dry but that time gives you time to blend it before it sets and stays all day long.
e.l.f. Liquid velvet shadow
When I heard e.l.f. was coming out with liquid shadows I couldn't wait to try them . Recently many brands have been dropping their version of liquid shadows but I always love seeing how e.l.f. steps in and gives us dupes at the most affordable price ranges (thank you e.l.f.). Ok first off the packaging is simple yet cute with the e.l.f. logo written across the tube . Next came the swatching which is always my favorite part , this formula does come off creamy and smooth. One important thing is that you need to work with the product fairly quick because it will dry down pretty fast. The color currant mood gives off a mauve like color which if perfect for spring time . The finish is definitely giving me more of a matte finish but overall it is a nice formula as long as you work quickly with it .
