I did my usual skincare before priming and compared the E.L.F. on my left to the Milk in my right. I couldn't tell a difference.

This primer works really good for anyone that has oily skin. The primer glides on so effortlessly and really does mattify and reduce my pores for a smooth finish once my concealer and foundation was applied.I also like that it's a very nice sized bottle and reasonably priced .I received this product...

Nice Grip
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] The e.l.f. Power Grip Matte Primer quickly became one of my go-to picks for keeping makeup in place—especially on humid days when shine likes to take over. It has that same sticky, gripping power as the original but with a shine-controlling matte finish, which is a game-changer for my oily zones. The gel texture feels light but dries down with just enough tackiness to lock in foundation like a magnet. What I really love is the way it smooths out pores without making my skin feel dry or tight. I've found it works best when I let it sit for a minute before applying foundation, giving it time to set properly. It definitely helps my makeup last longer, though if you prefer a softer hydration, you might like the original Power Grip better.

Super thick
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This power grip primer is definitely gripping, normally when I wear makeup I have to reapply my powder after a few hours but with this primer my makeup stayed on all day until I took it off at the end of the day. My skin tag is combination and so in the nose and chin area and along the jawline I tend to break out a lot and it is oilier but this tone down the shine and also did not cause any acne or breakouts to happen. The only problem I really had with this power grip primer is that it is super thick which made it a little harder to distribute evenly across my whole face. I would still definitely purchase this product because it is worth it
