Not Hydrating
I have tried the lip ointment, healing ointment, and now this balm and this is nowhere near as hydrating. It feels very dry. Will try to return.
Why the Hype? But a Solid Alternative!
So my biggest struggle with any lip balm is usually the taste. Many have flavors, sure, but they all also have bad aftertastes and I can't handle them. There's one specific balm I've religiously used for 15 years now, but of course you have to buy it direct and it isn't cheap (and it is minty). I've heard so much talk about Aquaphor - super hyped, well loved, almost promoted as a wonder balm - so I finally caved and tried it. It doesn't live up to the hype to me, but it is a great alternative that I can buy from many stores - and it doesn't have a taste to it. Which is nearly impossible to find. It also doesn't build up like a lot of other balms do. I will probably buy more to have on hand, truthfully. It's great for bedtime or when I truly need something basic and tasteless. I am a fan and do recommend it, but I just expected more or a wonder product I guess.
My holy grail
This is my holy grail product that I have repurached many times over there years. Ulta often has these in a glass tub next to the check-out station, which I usually stock up on. Ulta please keep these in stock, there's nothing better for the harsh Montana winters
Love the it doesn't make my lips shiny or greasy
Great for no shine and no sticky lips… good deep conditioner for lips
Its nice but not the best
I have pretty dry lips throughout the year so I like my lip products to be hydrating. While this lip balm has a nice feeling on the lips and its hydrating I constantly need to re apply evey 15-20 minutes. If your looking for a lip balm that actually softens the lips and has a lightweight feel this may be it if you dont mind the constant re- apply.
