Staple in my routine
I'm down to the last centimeter or so of mine, so Ulta decided to start carrying this at the perfect time! It might be a couple bucks cheaper at the drugstore, but I'm happy to be able to support Ulta and earn points for buying it through them. Also, it's always good to have a little something to th...

not for eczema lips
I have severe eczema on basically every inch of my skin and this lip balm did nothing. I put it on and 10 minutes later my lips still feel as dry as it did before putting on the chapstick. not to mention after a while a white ring formed around my mouth and just sayin I got a lot of stares from my n...

Wanted to love but..
Wanted to love this so bad ljke i love regular aquaphor and it feels so nice when you firsr put it on with a nice glide that almost looks like lip gloss. The more that i used it the more dry my lips got. They literallt started cracking….just by using it. Ill stick w the regular
Beautifully moisturizing lip balm
Contains no harmful ingredients often found in lip balms duch as flavoring ir fragrance. Is great to keep in purse, pocket or bedside table. This was very difficult to remove an adhesive "protective" tape from the exterior. It was excessive, hard to remove snd left a residue that required cleaning. Lip balm should not be so challenging.
convenient for travel and quick apply
I've used aquaphor (the tube) on my lips for years now as it's the only thing that actually helps my super chapped lips and these 2 very, very dry patches on my bottom lip. Within a couple of days those patches are gone and my lips look like normal healthy skin again. I will still use the tube version but this makes applying when traveling much easier. I see a lot of reviews saying you have to keep reapply, and yes, you do but I don't personally see that as a con. It's meant to be absorbed to heal the skin. So if that's an issue for you I think you're using the wrong product
Not Hydrating
I have tried the lip ointment, healing ointment, and now this balm and this is nowhere near as hydrating. It feels very dry. Will try to return.
Why the Hype? But a Solid Alternative!
So my biggest struggle with any lip balm is usually the taste. Many have flavors, sure, but they all also have bad aftertastes and I can't handle them. There's one specific balm I've religiously used for 15 years now, but of course you have to buy it direct and it isn't cheap (and it is minty). I've heard so much talk about Aquaphor - super hyped, well loved, almost promoted as a wonder balm - so I finally caved and tried it. It doesn't live up to the hype to me, but it is a great alternative that I can buy from many stores - and it doesn't have a taste to it. Which is nearly impossible to find. It also doesn't build up like a lot of other balms do. I will probably buy more to have on hand, truthfully. It's great for bedtime or when I truly need something basic and tasteless. I am a fan and do recommend it, but I just expected more or a wonder product I guess.
