Start at the inner corner of the eye, placing the eyeliner pencil as close to the lash line as possible. Glide across lash line for a precise line, or blend out (prior to formula drying) for a smokier look.
To access the sharpener, pull the cap off the back of the pencil. Twist the liner in a clockwise motion until desired sharpness is achieved.

Completely oil-less
If you do not have completely oil-less eyelids, I do not recommend. I did initial swatches on my hand + 20mins later rubbed my finger over it = didn't smudge. I then ran it under water and it didn't budge; but if you lightly rub it under water, it's still there but the color fades. Now… on my lids....

I love that this eyeliner actually stays in place. By the end of the day with most other eyeliners I've used, there are smudges everywhere around my eyes, even when I'm not crying or anything. This one stands the test of sweat from going to the gym a lot and being an emotional being. I am very impressed and will continue to purchase.

The application of this product is so nice. It applies smoothly, with very little drag or skipping. The pigmentation and color payoff is 10/10. It dries down fairly quickly and once it's dry, it is SET. No smudging, spreading, or crumbling. I LOVE this eyeliner! I have it in Blue is the new black, Equestrian, and So important (this color is a sleeper pick!)

Loved the liners and their pigmentation, I'm on the darker side and all of them show up so well and don't smudge. I do think they are slightly fragile and will break easily but you just have to be light with your touch!

I bought this eyeliner I'm black and blue during 21 Days of Beauty and I love it. better than Urban Decay, Lorac, and Tarte that are already in my makeup kit. No smudging and the line is clean when applying!
