Start at the inner corner of the eye, placing the eyeliner pencil as close to the lash line as possible. Glide across lash line for a precise line, or blend out (prior to formula drying) for a smokier look.
To access the sharpener, pull the cap off the back of the pencil. Twist the liner in a clockwise motion until desired sharpness is achieved.

Packaging makes it way too difficult to open

I was looking for an eyeliner that was waterproof, or at least smudgeproof, due to the fact that my undereye skin is very dry. And I use a lot of moisturizers. I wipe off the moisturizer right under my bottom eyelashes, and apply a thin layer of powder, before applying the eyeliner. It STILL smudged off! Won't buy again.
Great eyeliner!
This was a really good eyeliner. I had problems with other retractable eyeliners where it would just smudge an hour into my wear, even if I didn't touch my eye and added powder. This eyeliner lasted the whole day with doing band field shows and golf! Only complaint is that the sharpener doesn't work at all. The liner would snap in the sharper, and in my last attempt it completely ruined the eyeliner (some reason became really crumbly and break everytime I would try to apply). Overall, great eyeliner!

Do not buy. I used once and got a terrible eye infection. It clogs up your pores causing me Blepharitis. Save yourself a trip to the ER.
