Doesn't Hold A Curl
I bought the brown color of this mascara, for reference. I wish it held a curl. This mascara is SO PRETTY, and it stays on my lashes (oily eye area). I love the pretty separation it gives me and how well it builds up. It doesn't hold a curl though, and that's a deal breaker for me. It takes these pe...

My holy grail! And I've tried DOZENS.
I cannot believe that the least expensive mascara I've ever purchased is also the best. I have straight lashes that continually rebel against my curly hair by refusing to actually hold a curl, as well as sensitive eyes that like to water and burn at the mere suggestion of eye makeup. I have tried so many mascaras in my seemingly never-ending quest to find one I can actually use. The search is over, my friends! The e.l.f. Lash N' Roll is my holy grail! I will shed tears of woe if they ever change or discontinue it. You should also know that it does not smudge in the very hot and humid southeastern United States where you can literally fry an egg on the concrete. Even though my eyes are hooded and often touch my skin. It's good, ya'll.

What a lovely surprise!
I was intrigued by this product because I could get it in brown. Seems like every mascara is only made in varying shades of black. I'm a natural blonde and sometimes I still want to wear mascara but something a bit more subdued than black. This ELF mascara in Brown is perfect!! My lashes look lifted, defined, and just plain pretty! The formula is soooo good. Now I want to try it in the black color to use on full make up days. I didn't expect to love this product so much, but it's a winner!
