Hold the wand so its curve matches the natural curvature of your eyelid. Wiggle the wand upward through the lashes from roots to tips. Continue to build with light upward strokes at the tips of the lashes. For additional coats of mascara, layer as desired. To remove, use an oil-based cleanser and gently wipe off with a tissue or towel, then wash away residue with water.

The most amazing mascara I have ever used
I have been a makeup artist for nearly 20 years. I always lean toward drugstore mascaras as I've always found them to just perform better than high end. That being said, I probably have upwards of 30 high end mascaras that I've purchased for my kit (usually on sale) or have received in a beauty box....

Too much clumping, not enough volume

Clumpy, Messy, No volume
Not a fan, I'm not picky at all with my makeup but the way this wand is designed a ton of the product gets at the end and makes a mess. It lengthens - but no volume or curl, if you use more than one coat it clumps. It was also smudged all over my eyes by the end of the day.
Not the best mascara out there
This mascara did absolutely nothing for my eyelashes, although it was not expensive, it didn't do anything to enhance my lashes, so I returned it
Surprisingly Good
I am very picky about mascaras as my lashes are straight and light brown, so they need curl, length, volume, and good pigment. I try "many" mascaras, and I have settled on Tarte XL as my number one. Even with that, I will try "new" ones. In the past, I thought the Milani Anti-Gravity mascara was good, so when I saw this one, I decided to give it a go. I have tried other Milani mascaras that I have not liked. I find it quite nice, and let me mention that I tested the new Lancome Goddess one, and this is almost as good for a lot less. I must mention that I always start with my holy grail, Maybelline Lash Prime,r as it curls my lashes first and gives them a light tint. I would buy this again.

I was excited to try the Milani highly rated fan club mascara in the brown shade. I have very straight and light colored lashes, and I found this product very helpful with it's curling effects, staying power, and natural colored shade. The brown color was dark enough to highlight my lashes, yet not too stark as I sometimes find black shades to be with my fair skin and hair color. The brown just looks more natural on me. It took me a time or two to figure out the right way to use the brush, but once I did, I noticed that it definitely curled my lashes without me needing to use a lash curler. I did find it helpful to use a lash separator, but I refrained from doing that for my review picture. The product has a light neutral scent, and it is very comfortable and non-irritating; which is helpful because I wear contact lenses. It dries very quickly on the lashes and stays on my lashes all day without smudging or running. The tube is full of product and should last a long time. I will try other Milani mascaras in the future, in hopes that I can find one that I will not need to use a lash separator on, but could still curl my lashes like this product did.

I used this with a mascara primer, and it did not run, even with my seasonal allergies. I will definitely buy this again, hopefully they come out with different colors.
