Where's the grip?
I'm used to the Elf grippy primer, and was excited to try this as a replacement. But I was super let down. It did not feel geippy at all, more watery and by the time I had it dried down it definitely wasnt grippy/sticky. Not only this, but my foundation would peel so bad. I just stopped using it all together.
great gripping formula!
a great affordable gripping primer! i have oily skin and this helps my makeup stay in place all day!! to note* it is fragranced however it does not linger on your skin all day, it's a very clean scent. i bought this in may and im almost done with it! less is definitely more, i like to apply it on my t zone and def wait a minute for the grippiness effect before applying foundation. Would def purchase again
How good the essence primer is
If I'm be honest, this primer is the best. I haven't tried the milk Hydro group, but I don't think it can even be its own dupe. No hate to milk beauty by the way, but it's super glow hydrating affordable and grippy and for six dollars it is totally worth your money.
