Amika is THAT girl. Truly, I love the products. The price is insane but unfortunately I will be spending it because of how nice my hair feels. I had vivid purple money pieces and a few highlights and after like 5 years my hair was like "pls queen, no mas" and was so dry, despite my best efforts to give her the moisture she required. This mask actually hydrates my hair and makes it manageable. For reference, my hair is very thick/dense and wavy. I also believe I have low porosity hair. I hope that helps you know how it may compare to your own hair :) This also won't repair my bleached brokenness of course, but its helped tremendously with keeping my new hair growth healthy and not snapping off even more of the previously damaged. So glad I tried it!

moisturizing for my kinky hair
I'm a black woman with unrelaxed hair. I've used this product and the soulfood mask as my primary conditioners after shampoos because of the kinky texture of my natural hair. I enjoy both products, but I understand now why this mask is more expensive. It really does soften and moisturize my hair and provides more than enough slip to make detangling in the shower simple. I get about 2-3 uses out of the regular size (I can get 3 uses out of the soulfood regular size jar). Overall it is superior to the soulful mask but is uber expensive I would never buy for regular retail price.

Honestly worked really good for me, i have bleach hair and my hair stylist always says my hair feels good after BLEACHING it bevause i use this
