- Q
What is the PA rating for this sunscreen?
- Asked by windywinters
- Official Answer By Live Tinted - Brand EngageThe PA rating system measures UVA protection and is commonly used in Asia. In the U.S. and Canada, sunscreens follow FDA and Health Canada regulations, which use broad spectrum labeling instead. Based on this we don't test our SPFs for PA rating, however, they are rigorously tested to ensure high protection against both UVA and UVB rays. Was this answer helpful to you

I have Hueguard Tint 8 for summer should I go to a 7 for winter.
- Asked by Gail
- Official Answer By Live Tinted - Brand EngageThat depends on how you wear it and your specific skin tone. Some of us swap shades with the seasons while others keep one shade all year long. We'd recommend trying out a 7 in your local ULTA during the winter and see if that works for your skin tone. Was this answer helpful to you

Honestly? Where has this been my whole life.
I am not anti chemical sunscreen in the slightest, but knowing that I am TTC this year and most dermatologists will say "out of an abundance of caution…" for the lack of studies, I opted to finish out my beloved spf 50 black girl sunscreen (their mineral has too much of a white cast) and look for an...

Amazing if you can't smell.
I loved this product, the formula is great. Dewy but it stays put and isn't greasy. I only gave 2 stars because i cannot stand the smell. It smells like a dog's anal gland fluid. Iykyk. It's faint enough I didnt notice until after i applied it, but still it ruined my evening. i kept getting a whiff ...

Great coverage
Huegard Tinted Sunscreen
So so good. It gives a beautiful natural medium coverage without any dryness or cakeyness. I was able to apply the full two fingers without looking crazy, and it's Spf 50 which is so hard to come by in products like this. The only con is unless you have very dry skin then you pretty much have to use a powder with this, but I dont mind that because I have a bare minerals spf powder that I use to touch up my spf every 2 hours anyway.
Still searching
I am always searching for a lightweight skin tint that has SPF. I thought this was the one. The skin tone match was ideal, it was a bit glowy for my taste, but I could work with it. The problem is that it just doesn't stay put. At any given time of day, I could press a tissue to my face and come away with skin tint. Imagine what was taking place on coat, collars, etc. Other reviewers have mentioned the horrible smell and I can certainly confirm that! it does dissipate after a few minutes, though. I'll use it up, but I'm still in the search for the perfect skin tint with SPF.
It's good!
As someone who hates wearing foundation, this is a really good substitute for me. I do find that it's thin and buildable, but can provide some pilling if you don't apply it with your fingers. The color matching is pretty decent and it wears well with the rest of my makeup routine applied. The cons are that it does have a strong smell initially, and I find myself having more clogged pores and sebaceous filaments. But it has not made me break out in anyway. I just have to do more exfoliating in between during the week.
It is truly amazing!
I'm 62 and not really into makeup or beauty products. I do always try to wear mineral sunscreen though. My daughter had me try this tinted sunscreen and I'm so happy she did. It is the best thing I've ever found for my old skin. Covers spots well!
