The best!!!
This shampoo has been a game changer for my locs! I have never ever ever come across a shampoo that helps with moisture retention like this one. My hair is very thick, 4c and i've been struggling with dry locs because of winter. Usually i hv to go in w leave in spray right after washing because my hair would be so stiff and dry but this product does all of the work for me! I love design essentials and would highly recommend this product

I have fine, high porosity, curly-coily hair. It foams up easily, so a little goes a long way. I split my sections in half, finger combed, and I was able to detangle my hair, WOW! My hair felt moisturized and soft, and my curls were very defined!

Hair Type Wavy Hair
Ive tried several diff shampoos in past 2-3 years, drugstore and higher end (pureology, amika etc) and this is one of the BETTER (not best) shampoos Ive tried. It definitely doesn't strip your hair and detangles it, leaving a great foundation for the conditioner to do its job. However, it is absolutely more hydrating than moisturizing and for my hair (maybe due to porosity levels IDK) its leaves it ...Poofy? plus some love the smell but to me it smells like old school bubblegum....can't do it. So if you have more fine hair and/or want more volume...this will probably be a God send. I'll finish the 2 bottles I have but will continue my search for a truly moisturizing conditioning shampoo.
