Shake well. Hold can 12in/30cm from dry hair, section, and spray onto roots. Massage thoroughly with fingertips to ensure roots are fully covered. Brush through to remove excess residue and style as desired.

Not worth the hype
I'm not sure I understand why everyone loves this. It leaves behind a disgusting residue and just makes me want to wash it right away. I do appreciate that it is dark, however sometimes it still leaves a lighter brown cast. I know it comes out dark though because when you do the arm test it is dark, but as it dries it turns lighter. Also with the arm test you can see all the texture and gross residue it leaves behind.

I've always loved batiste, but now that my hair is darker, I've noticed the white residue of the original was more apparent, so I bought the brunette. It worked perfectly, same great formula but less worry of discoloration

I'm in the process of training my hair to go longer between washes. I have medium texture/thickness brunette hair and it was always been very oily. I have tried Batiste's original dry shampoo and liked it okay, but it left a white sheen on my hair. Then I tried this and it works amazing! My hair doesn't look or feel dirty/greasy at all and I don't even have to spray back over it throughout the day. The only downside that I've noticed is the pigment does tend to get all over my skin, so I make sure to use it before I have to wash my face or put on makeup. It also makes my hair start to kind of stink about halfway through the day, but nothing that some freshening spray/oil can't get rid of. Will definitely be buying it again!

I have extreme oily hair and have tried three different dry shampoos (drug store brands) and this is the first one that actually works!!! the one that kinda worked was L'Oréal but it still made my hair feel gross, but this Batiste make my oil and shine go away and didn't give me that nasty feel!!! I am so excited to keep using this!
