After blow-drying my hair, I applied the JOICO Heat Hero Glossing Thermal Protector before using a curling iron. I prefer a heat protectant that is applied to wet hair. It doesn't make sense to put heat on your hair with a blow dryer and then apply a heat protector. That said, I would have been open...

Nowhere does this product list itself as a having a wet tacky finish when sprayed. The smell is also strong like a hairspray. Makes dry texture hair feel like straw
Not exactly what I wanted, but works
Hair Type Very Curly Hair
It's an okay 'dry' spray heat protectant but it does leave a sticky residue on my hair. I was looking for a cheaper alternative to the Oribe gold lust heat protection dry mist, but this isn't it.
Lightweight, but strong smell
It's a great value and lightweight! I just can't have the door closed when spraying it. Luckily the smell doesn't stick to the hair. Its just uncomfortable to spray especially with long thick hair.
New favorite heat protectant !
I have fine thin hair so finding a heat protectant that doesn't weigh down my hair and make it greasy has always been a challenge. This one protects my hair when using hot tools and gives my hair so much shine!

Hair Type Straight Hair
I use a hot iron daily & this is a must have for me. I have very fine hair and have found other heat protectors make my hair look greasy. I wash my hair every few days and never have to worry about build up.
