I am 70 years old and have always had fine hair. Just within the last year I tried a product called Got Grit in the crown of my hair where I have an unwanted part in my hair. Since using this product my hair has started thinning. Will this hair booster help my hair grow out again. I have stopped using the Got Grit.

- Official Answer By Nioxin - Brand EngageThe Hair Booster could be beneficial in thickening and lessening breakage of the hair. however if the Got grit clogged the hair follicles, causing them to suffocate and dye, you may actually need one of the the system shampoo to clean them out and let the hairs below breathe and grow. It would not hurt to have the conditioner from that same system to stimulate the blood flow which feeds the hair follicles. This is a really nice mask and I noticed how good it was for my hair with one use. However, it is pretty expensive for a small tube. I would go through it too quickly if I used this everty time I washed with the Hair Fall Defense shampoo, which is too drying for my hair. I would only use this weekly or monthly.

The product is comfortable and easy to use, it also didn't weigh down my fine hair. However, I have not seen a big impact on the thickness of my hair from using the product.
