Too earthy
This was my first time trying anything from this brand Rookie Wellness . The screens superfood supplement has excellent ingredients so it's really looking forward to trying this. This product is supposed to help with gut and immune health. I got the strawberry lemonade flavor. I mixed it in my personal blender jet. Unfortunately I did not enjoy the taste of these greens. I thought they were too earthy tasting, and even when using a blender, there were still some greediness to it. I would have really loved to experience the gut benefits that this supplement provides, but in order to take it, I have to mix it with some fruit juice or put in a protein smoothie otherwise I can't drink it. I received this product free in exchange for my honest opinion.
Just not for me
I'm gonna start off by mentioning the texture of this product. It's super chalky and leaves a weird... dry feeling in the mouth. It dissolved pretty easily but was so messy when I tried adding it to my water bottle... the powder is super airy and goes EVERYWHERE even when you try to be as careful and precise as possible. Like I said it dissolved easily so that's a plus. But the texture was just tooo chalky!! Like even knowing it disolved properly it tasted like it didn't! What! And that taste..... I don't know who thought this tasted like Strawberry Lemondade but it doesn't! Not one bit. It reminds me of some watered down day old cheap lemonade drink mix. The strawberry flavor is barely there which is so disappointing. I had to force myself to chug my bottle once I got a good taste of it just so I didn't waste the packet. All in all I don't care for it. It's not tasty and the texture is my worst nightmare. *I recieved this product in exchange for my honest review
Delicious!
This is not my first time trying Rookie Greens. I became a big fan when I tried the green apple flavor a while back and this new strawberry lemonade flavor is no exception! These are truly the best tasting greens I've tried. I look forward to drinking these everyday as opposed to dreading it when I used to buy other big brands.They are also low on grit which is a big plus for me. I definitely recommend to anyone who has been previously turned off by the flavor of other greens or anyone who is looking to try these delicious flavors
