Apply a small amount to wet skin, gently massage across the face in circular motions, avoiding the eye area, then rinse thoroughly. Use once daily to start, increasing to twice daily as tolerated. Follow with moisturizer and daily sunscreen. If irritation occurs, reduce frequency or discontinue and consult a dermatologist.

I bought this as a replacement for my Peter Thomas Roth 3% glycolic face wash (as Ulta and other beauty stores both do not have it at the moment), and while it gets the job done, I am not a fan. HEADS UP!
I purchased this last week because of the reviews and I thought it would be great for myself as well as for my boyfriend. So far, I am liking it. I haven't used it enough yet. BUT FOR HIM; he gets cold sores and almost immediately after using this product 2 sores broke out right beside each other...now he wiped the wash across his mouth for some odd reason I don't understand at all. But I saw nothing at all about this occurring in any reviews I read and I looked at reviews from other sites. The glycolic acid is gentle but obviously strong enough to effect those prone to cold sores. I don't get cold sores so it slipped my mind to think about that. Just thought I would share.

It did not break my skin out or cause any severe negative reactions, but in comparison to the PTR I am kind of unimpressed. Will be returning.
