Seems to work
I really hesitated to buy this because of the price and I wasn't sure how it would work but Ulta has such a libral return policy I thought I would try it. I used this when my hair had a lot of gray roots and I should have been using a box color like I usually do so this was a pretty tough test of th...

Does not work!
Discovered this at Ulta by accident. I was excited about this product. I'm getting tired of root touch ups every 2 weeks. Well it did nothing. I left it on for 40 mins. As I was waiting, it looked like my roots were turning golden brown. I needed darker, but I would have been fine with it. Washed ...

HORRIBLE
I am a stay at home mom, who doesnt get out much. I purchsed this to hopefullu give me some confidence back, and it did the exact opposite… strawberry was not strawberry …. Its awful… splotchy, streaky , just terrible… i am so sick to my sromach and now im going to have to pay to get it fixed. Do NOT buy.
Was skeptical but highly recommend
I bought this to gloss and provide a bit of color between colorings. I have grays at my roots and was pleasantly surprised to see that it did cover my grays. My normal hair coloring is dark/medium brown with warm tones. This definitely gave a copper tone but was not overpoweringly red. It blended well with medium brown hair. The timing says up to 20 minutes but I only leave it on in the shower for 3-5 minutes with good results. I haven't left it on longer, though, so no idea if it's too much leaving it on for that long. Cons: it stains your skin. I use gloves to apply and rinse it out. Hard to keep from getting on face, and hard to get off skin.
INTENSE, horrible smell that lingers even after washing
Title says it all. Color is way too dark (strawberry will make your hair brown--not strawberry--even if you are a very light golden blond to begin with.)
Not sure if I'd purchase again, probably not
Hair Type Wavy Hair
I'm more of a orange copper that's not too bright, this is very pigmented and I'd recommend more if you were a strawberry copper either more red tones whether it's red red or even has a hint of it. Does make your hair pretty smooth though.
loved it
Hair Type Straight Hair
the consistency is supper easy to work with doesn't clump up or need extra effort to evenly apply, color is nice and holds up well with heat also makes my hair feel soft after blow drying

Does this product have ingredients that will strip keratin? Ammonia, sodium chloride, sulfate, peroxide?
- Asked by L
- Official Answer By dpHUE - Brand EngageThanks for asking this important question. Gloss+ does not contain ammonia, peroxide, sulfates, or sodium chloride. Instead, it's a conditioning, direct-deposit color formula that uses conditioning ingredients and direct dyes to refresh or enhance color without oxidative dyes or materials. While every keratin treatment is different and we always recommend following your stylist's or keratin manufacturer's care instructions, there are no ingredients in this formula that are typically associated with stripping a keratin treatment. Does it cover grey
- Asked by Why me, God?
- Official Answer By dpHUE - Brand EngageThanks for your question! Every head of gray is different, so results can vary depending on the amount and texture of your gray hair. Gloss+ isn't designed to permanently cover gray, but it can help soften and blend grays while enhancing your overall hair color and adding shine. If you'd like more personalized guidance, we'd be happy to help! Please reach out to dpHUE Customer Support with a current photo of your hair in natural lighting, and our team can recommend the best shade and set expectations for your specific hair. - Q
I have hair past my shoulders a little on the thick side do i need more than one bottle?
- Asked by serina
- Official Answer By dpHUE - Brand EngageWith hair that's a little past your shoulders and on the thicker side, the exact number of Gloss+ applications will depend on how much product your hair absorbs and how generously you apply it. Many people with your hair length and density are able to get multiple uses from one bottle, especially if they're just refreshing their color. Gloss+ is made to be applied on damp hair to spread out more evenly. If you have especially thick or very long hair and prefer a more generous application, you may go through the bottle more quickly, but we generally recommend starting with one bottle and seeing how much you use on your first application. Was this answer helpful to you

I've been coloring my hair sort of a strawberry blonde/auburn color, which was my natural hair color, for a long time. I'm tired of coloring and have started to let my natural grey come in but I dont like the texture of my natural hair as mich as the texture of my colored hair. I'm wondering if I tried using the Gloss+ in the sheer color if it might give me a more similar texture to my previously colored hair?

- Q
Does it cover grey hairs?
- Asked by Ageless beauty
- Official Answer By dpHUE - Brand EngageGloss+ is a semi permanent conditioning color, so it won't provide full gray coverage. However, depending on your hair and the type of gray you're working with, it can help blend grays and shift their tone for a more natural look. For best results, we recommend staying within 1–2 shades of your natural base color and always performing a strand test before applying Gloss+ allover. This will help determine if you're seeing the intended results! If you're looking for full gray coverage, our Root Touch-Up Kits would be the better option.
