When I first started using this, I was skeptical about the brightening effects because I've tried ones in the past and don't notice a difference. To note, my skin is on the oily side so it tends to get really dull easily, so I am definitely trying to look for something that isn't heavy and can make ...me more oily, but also keep my skin brighter, especially during the summer months. When I first tried the product, I liked how its very smooth and absorbs well and quite quickly. The texture is almost like a gel like moisturizer, but it doesn't really have too much of the gel like texture, only the slightest if you really try to notice the consistency. It feels almost like a very smooth moisturizer. I also like the scent of it. it smells like oranges with a mix of menthol or mint. One pump of it can pretty much get my whole face but sometimes I like to use 1.5 pumps to just bring the product down my neck. I think the one thing I did notice about using the product was that it may clash with some skincare products depending on what type of product it is. I say this because I like to use oils for my moisturizer. So when I first tried this and massaged the oil on top, I noticed it would create a little bit of the eraser like pilling. Not a lot would come from it, but just a bit to notice. I think if I was using a cream, this wouldn't have a issue. But I have found a way to work with it with oils. I have tried to use less massaging motions and just started patting the oil into my skin so it doesn't create those eraser like particles. I have used this for a couple of weeks and I have found that it has brightened my skin. I definitely notice it in some areas because when I use the product, I tend to focus it in the center of my face, but I forget about the outer edges on my face and so after using for a bit, I have noticed that the outer edged of my skin have a slighter darker tone to it. I am surprised that I noticed results from using this, also because sometimes I tend to forget to put on sunscreen when I go out, so I was afraid I wouldn't notice anything, but surprisingly, I have. I use it morning and night and I find that its very comfortable to wear so I can definitely see myself using this in my daily skincare routine. Overall I would totally recommend for people to try this product out if you're in the market for a brightening serum.
