This company has terrible customer service. I wasn't impressed by this dryer despite the multitude of glowing reviews. I found it made my hair much frizzier than my old ionic dryer. Damaged hair
This was recommended to me by someone who loves hers. After about a month of using this to dry an style my hair, I started to notice some breakage. I brushed it off and continued to use it. My hair became so damaged that I ended up returning it for in store credit. This was the only change I made to my hair routine. I have long hair that has always been healthy and now I have short, broken hair thoughout my head. I think the damp hair with direct heat isn't a good fit for me.
Great result but button placement needs revamp
I own the original airwrap and purchased this not only to compare but also to have a second model for travel. The result was beautiful and probably at least 10-20% better than my original airwrap(can't compare to newer models). My critique-the on/off button for styling is in a VERY awkward position especially if you have any mobility or pain/dexterity concerns. I had to use two hands which isn't something necessary with the Airwrap. I can coolshot and turn off with my dominant hand(with Airwrap). I do prefer the bent angle of the dryer however that angle makes a shaky joint when using tension in round brush styling. I like the size of the curling barrel but they are way too short for us med-longer hair girlies. Beware, this does get very hot. Something that difficult-to-curl ladies will appreciate. I did enjoy the experience but it could still use some upgrades. Loved the glacier blue!

I've had my SharkFlex for nearly a year now and can say it's great, however my hair doesn't last very long after using it! It's great for a blow dry at home though :). For curls, I'd likely still use my curling wand! The power and ergonomics are great - can switch positions and switch out the ends - from that point of view it's a great product!
