To open the product, remove the cap and insert the opposite side of the cap into the foil. Push down on the cap and twist until the foil is punctured.
Use once daily. Clean the skin gently and pat dry before applying product. Cover the entire affected area with a thin layer. For example, if your acne is on the face, apply the product to the entire face. Do not use more than one time a day. Applying more than directed will not provide faster or better results, but may worsen skin irritation. During the early weeks of use, your acne may appear to worsen before it improves (this is normal); continue use as directed, unless you get irritation that becomes severe. Irritation is more likely to occur in the first few weeks of use or if using more than one topical acne medication at a time but irritation usually lessens with continued use of this product. Applying more than directed will not provide faster or better results. It may take up to 3 months of once daily use to see results. For further instructions, refer to the Drug Facts on the packaging.
Precautions: Suitable for children 12 years and up. If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a doctor before use.
Active: Adapalene USP 0.1% (Retinoid)* (Acne Treatment). Inactive: Carbomer Homopolymer, Edetate Disodium, Methylparaben, Poloxamer 182, Propylene Glycol, Purified Water, And Sodium Hydroxide.

Kind of works
I bought this product because I have acne scars that kind of just popped up one day, and I couldn't for the life of me figure out where they came from, as I have clear skin. So I decided to try this brand because of how much dermatologists praise it. I did some research and I ended up with the Effac...

A staple
I introduced this almost a year ago and I have been using it since every other night or so. I find that using it every night dries my skin. You have to introduce it slowly and give time to your skin to adjust. My dermatologist approved. It keeps acne at bay and stimulates collagen production, which we could all use more of. Consistency is key and don't forget to use sunscreen during the day (which you should do regardless).
Better formula, less irritating
I have used the same main ingredient before from cheaper brands and the irritation at the same % was always too much. The supporting ingredients in here do not irritate or dry out my skin. Worth every penny. It glides across the skin so you can get a pea sized amount to actually spread across your face.
good product
i've used this for about 2 weeks now and so far i really like it. my skin definitely went through a purge period but now my pores have shrunk so much and my skin is so smooth, a little dry but i just use a thick cream afterwards
Repaired Years of Acne Scars
I have dry sensitive skin If you have acne scars, you're familiar with the uneven texture on the areas of your skin where the scars are. Your pores are almost like craters. Before this product, I used La Roche Posay's Retinol B3 Serum @ night, it was a good introduction to this product which is much stronger acting. You do not need a lot of this. The texture of my skin is so EVEN and TIGHT (in a good way) I have used it for a week now, I think I was using too much of it becaude my skin did dry out slightly but wow. This is PERFECT for acne scars
Effective when used correctly
I love this stuff. Truly got rid of some seriously stubborn acne. Ive noticed a total change to my skin texture as well. My skin literally looks so good. A pea size is perfect for the whole face. You need such a thin layer. I pair with a pretty rich moisturizer as well. Make sure its totally dry though before layering product!! I did experience some sensitivity and burning at first when figuring out what worked best. Truly give it 1-3 months of consistent use and you will see a difference!
