For a natural look: Trace the lip line to create enhanced shape and definition. Use lip brush to soften and blend edges. Follow with lipstick, if desired. For a full, pouty look: Outline lips just over your natural lip line then thoroughly pencil-in lips. Use lip brush to layer on lipstick.
To sharpen: Because of the oil- infused formula, it's important to use a clean pencil sharpener with a sharp blade. Gently twist the pencil through the sharpener to create a defined point. After use, clean sharpener with a cotton swab to remove all excess product so it is ready for the next time.

While I love the shade and have purchased many times, I'm extremely disappointed with the quality of the pencil. Pencil is difficult to sharpen and breaks easily, wasting a very expensive item. This is one of my absolutely favorite lip liners for a smooth, glide on wesr that lasts all day. Still on my lips after eating and even brushing my teeth. Wished they had more shades.

I tried on a Coral shade of the Estee Lauder Double Wear Lip Liner in Belk and loved it. Went back to buy it & they were out. Ulta was out. But found it direct from Estee Lauder online. It's awesome if you aren't looking for brown lip liners ;) stays on...has a brush at the end that allows you to smooth it out. Incredible product! Best lip liner I have tried. Treated myself for my birthday. Estee Lauder for the win!

The formula in this lip liner must have changed. It is virtually impossible to sharpen. I won't be purchasing again. Please don't keep changing good products into bad ones.
