Maybe user error?
I received this curling iron to review. I have very long hair for reference. I will pop a photo of my outcome as well as a before if I can. I wasn't impressed with this curling iron. Maybe I needed to turn the heat up, but I've always loved the reference of "your hair is not garlic bread" so it does...

This is a great curling iron! Heats up quick, no extra bells and whistles, and you don't have to change anything out. My hair doesn't hold a curl very well after I've straightened it, but this held longer than most! I love the minimal settings but the off button is easy to hit if you're not careful. However, that's not an issue once you figure that out.

I have shoulder length hair and this did nothing for me. Maybe if I had longer hair it would make a nice blowout look. It did heat up quickly and I like how the clamp is removable.

Heats up quickly and having the option of adding the clamp or not using the clamp gives you different ways to style your hair (waves & curls) with one device! I have fine highlighted hair and love that this curler has the ability to select the desired heat temp through the high and low buttons. Also a big fan of the auto shut off feature after 60 mins in case you accidentally leave it on while getting ready. Styled my hair quicky with minimal effort, would recommend to all my friends.

I received this wand for free in exchange for my review and I'm obsessed! It's so easy to use left my hair looking fab. Heats up really fast which is a def plus. Only thing that's kind of annoying is the power button. It's a bit hard and you have to push it long.

The InfinitiPro Digital Ceramic Curling Wand in 1.25" has so many convenient features. It has a high, low, and on/off button. It also has a digital temperature screen which shows how quickly the wand is heating up. It heats up FAST. It also has a removable clamp that can be locked on or taken off. It cools down quickly and stores easily as well. The only concern I had is that the wand reaches 310 degrees but seems to take a while to make a curl. I usually curl my hair when it is very slightly damp so this might be the problem. It took around 20-30 seconds per curl but the curls came out beautifully.
