Maybe user error?
I received this curling iron to review. I have very long hair for reference. I will pop a photo of my outcome as well as a before if I can. I wasn't impressed with this curling iron. Maybe I needed to turn the heat up, but I've always loved the reference of "your hair is not garlic bread" so it does...

I really was shocked at how well this curling iron worked. It's extremely lightweight and not bulky and heavy like the one I have at home now. I have curly coarse hair and it still curled mine. I love this wand and curling iron in one.

I like the thickness of this wand because I have long hair and I love to look like I have beachy tossed hair. The only problem I had with this wand is that it doesn't heat as great as I would like it to. It took a while to actually get a nice curl on my hair. It kept getting flat quickly so I had to hold the wand down to my hair for a lot longer than I normally would with my other wands. Overall I'm not 100 percent impressed with the wand. I did my hair 2 hours ago and my hair is flat now. I'm a little disappointed at how the curl won't hold. I even put hairspray on to help the curl… it didn't work! I guess if you want a slight curl this would work for you. But if you're looking for a wand that really holds its heat and gives you effortless waves, look elsewhere.

Great curling iron! I love that it can either be a wand or regular curling iron with detachable clip. I love the different heat settings and it really seems to cut down on frizz.the curls look great and it's fast and easy to use.
