Maybe user error?
I received this curling iron to review. I have very long hair for reference. I will pop a photo of my outcome as well as a before if I can. I wasn't impressed with this curling iron. Maybe I needed to turn the heat up, but I've always loved the reference of "your hair is not garlic bread" so it does...

Do you want long lasting and soft curls? Buy this ! I love how this brings 2 attachments definitely a plus for when i want curls and when i want waves all in one! I love using the wand part to make my curls. Im so used to using a smaller and thinner one but this one i get my hair done faster and still looks just as good.

the temp only goes to 400 only has a kick stand when the clamp is on, when no clamp it rolls around the counter more of loose wave than a curl the black tip is usually where i rest my hand holding my hair, it got too hot which I turn can burn the user it got unplugged like halfway through and i turned it back on and it was back at 350 degrees not the 400 it says it was on - isn't really holding temp

I have fine hair, but it's naturally curly/wavy (type 2B) so it tends to hold a curl really well even without hairspray. This curler is great because if you like the use of a clamp, it's there for you, but you can also really simply remove it and use it as a wand, which is what I usually like to do. This barrel size is great, it seems kind of big at first, but then when your hair is done it looks really natural. It looks like natural curls rather than the tighter spiral curls you might get from smaller barrel sizes. Definitely recommend this!
