[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] i have super long hair so the XL curling iron is great for that. the barrel is long which helps get more hair. i feel like the metal near the finger clamp gets really hot and its hard to rest it without it falling. you have to get the right angle. a heat mat would be great for this. it gets super hot and is effective!

I received this product in exchange for my honest review. I'm loyal to my curling wand, but was really excited to try this one. I immediately loved how much longer this was than my curling wand! It has multiple settings for high and low heat, which you can then toggle to the temperature you're looking for. The buttons are right where your hand rests, which is kind of a pain. BUT, the saving grace is that the buttons aren't very reactive, so accidentally touching them doesn't affect the settings. I've never used a curling iron with a clamp, so I admit I'm still getting used to it. My curls weren't super great at first, but I watched some tutorials on how to operate it and they're looking better. 😂 The curls aren't AS TIGHT as my curling wand, but they are still very pretty. They also kind of fall throughout the day, which I don't experience with my wand. I am *hoping* that continued practice will improve the quality of the curl and staying power. But overall I would recommend and plan to keep practicing!
