Depending on the thickness of your hair, squeeze a dime to quarter-sized amount of shampoo into your palm. Apply to wet hair, massaging into the scalp to create a rich lather. Add more shampoo if desired. Rinse thoroughly and repeat if necessary.

omgasssh first off the scent is soooo amazing. Just as amazing as the scent from Amika hair products. cleaned my hair so good. I even added purple drops to the whole bottle to tone my blonde and it clarified my scalp. amazing duo. you will not be disappointed with this clarifying shampoo. Great price too for the big bottle. suds up nicely! and again smells just sooo good! you won't be disappointed!
Hair is oily by day two because of "rebound effect"

If you have a very oily scalp, The Kristin Ess Deep Clean Clarifying Shampoo will powerfully remove the sebum. However, by day two, your scalp will be oily again because of the rebound effect. Its formula uses high-intensity surfactants designed to strip away silicones, minerals, and heavy oils. As a result of stripping away 100% of the natural sebum, the sebaceous glands receive a signal that the scalp is "dangerously dry." They respond by over-producing oil as quickly as possible to restore the barrier. I went for the "deep clean" to feel fresh, but my scalp ended up reacting like it's in a desert emergency, pumping out oil faster than before.

I have purchased a different shampoo from this company and was satisfied, but this one is definitely my favorite. It is a great clarifying shampoo, and has helped me a lot with my dry scalp and buildup. I pair it with the olaplex shampoo, and they work great for my hair. Definitely recommend.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I received the Kristin Ess Deep Clean Clarifying Shampoo and Conditioner free from Kristen Ess in exchange for my honest review. This product is very effective at penetrating deep down to your roots getting all the buildup and toxins out of your hair without stripping it out of your natural oils and beauty. I have very thin and fine hair and it is extremely easy for me to get buildup from products and environmental toxins that cause my hair to look lifeless and oily. After using this shampoo and conditioner just one time I immediately noticed a huge difference and instantly fell in love with not only the amazing subtle fragrance of this product but also how soft and manageable it makes my hair. The shampoo lathers up well without being too sudsy and it was very easy to rinse away. The conditioner was silky smooth upon application and it did not disappoint at all. My hair has never looked and smelled so clean and soft. Very impressive formula and definitely a product I will be buying again and again. Highly recommended.

I received this product in exchange for my honest review. This shampoo has been sooo good for my hair! I have curly hair so I use a lot of products in order to insure that my curls remain defined, frizz free, and look good, so I tend to have quite a bit of buildup everytime I need to wash my hair and a normal shampoo isn't quite enough. This clarifying shampoo is genuinely perfect because it gets rid of all that buildup and leaves my hair perfectly clean without stripping it of literally everything. It just gets rid of the buildup and excess which is exactly what I need in a shampoo. My hair always feels so light and clean after I wash it with this shampoo, it's such a wonderful feeling. I adore it. I also love the packaging and I think it looks so cute.
