I bought elf daily hydration moisturizer two weeks ago... worst mistake ever!!!! I've been trying to figure out why my face has been breaking out and it is because of this greasy product !!! My face is read and has so many fine bumps... I'm livid!!!!!

so heavily fragranced it's like chemical warfare
I got this because I'd seen elf skincare products being advertised on tiktok as good for their price. Strangely, not one of these reviews mentions the UNBEARABLY strong smell the second you pump it onto your skin. It's not an inherently bad scent, but it's so strong it's a miracle my nose hairs weren't singed. I washed it off less than five minutes later because I could not stand it. I still wanted to make use of it, so I tried using it on my hands, but my mom asked me to wash it off because it was permeating the entire living room. I don't know if some underpaid laborer at elf factory accidentally put 100x the intended amount of fragrance, but I'm too traumatized to buy another one and find out. The one plus of this is that returning things at Ulta is ridiculously easy and I got my nine dollars back. I don't even know if it works because I couldn't even let it dry down before it broke me mentally. This product should be considered chemical warfare and a violation of the geneva convention under article 35(2) of protocol 1, where it's prohibited to release a biological weapon that will cause superfluous and unnecessary suffering. I'd rather huff anthrax than ever let this product within my smelling range ever again.
Broke Me Out
I gave this a try in the spring, and it broke me out so bad. I hate that my skin didn't agree with it, because I think it did a great job of hydrating my skin during the colder months

If you are scent sensitive, BEWARE!
No issues with the moisturizer itself but PHEW is it fragranced! I cant wear it on its own or itll give me a headache. Not my favorite smell.
