Just Nope! Overwhelming scent and slimy texture
I typically *LOVE* Bed Head styling products, having used many of the different concoctions they have available. I had high hopes for this curl cream amplifier, but was very disappointed. Since this was the first time I tried this product, I used about 1/2 of the amount I use with their other styling products. This cream was pretty sticky, but the "Small Talk" cream is also sticky, so I wasn't overly concerned. However, as I finger combed this through my hair, the cream almost seemed to sit on top of my hair strands making them feel slimy, and I immediately noticed that my hair wasn't nearly as wavy/curly as normal. I used a diffuser to dry about half my hair and then air dried the rest. My hair, both the diffused and the air dried, looked stringy, crunchy, and with significantly less curl. After combing, my hair was just weirdly uneven, with some areas being almost nearly straight (!) and the rest was still much less curly than my hair typically is. The total deal breaker though, and I reason I'm not even going to give this cream another try, was the scent. It is a very sweet and very strong scent. It gave me a migraine, as the scent remained in my hair the entire day, until I was finally able to wash my hair. I enjoy the scent of all the Bed Head products I've used, but this was terrible. Absolutely do NOT recommend! I'm returning mine to Ulta for a refund.
