Flaky residue
Unless you wash your hair daily, this product leaves a white residue and makes it extremely difficult to rewet your hair to restyle it the next day. I also had white flakes in between washing that looked like dandruff. Very disappointing.

I went out on a whim and purchased this gel and I'm so glad I did. From the first use it defined my waves and I'm so happy I found something that works for me Thank you Ulta for having it on your shelf and Joico for making it.
Great curls
Love the result and the scent. No crunchy curls. Very defined.
Finally what I was looking for
First, I have tried a thousand products. I have fine 2b 3a waves and curls, most things are too heavy for my hair and lighter products don't hold enough. This product gives me hold without the crispy hair. Just a little crisp. I put it in without towel drying and get a good squish I use a little curl cream on top and then use my microfiber towel to squish some more. Let air dry or difuse and it's perfect once dried.
