I tried this gel with the Joico curls like us cream and I looked like the model in the "before" picture, dry and frizzy, no definition. I'm glad it was on sale because I lost the receipt and couldn't return it. Curlsmith and not your mothers products are way better.

This product is better than BioSilk Rock Hard Gelee. It doesn't weigh my hair down & holds better in the humidity. No flakiness or sticky residue.

I have healthy 3b/c curly hair and this gel leaves my hair feeling like straw. This gel is the hands down worst gel I've ever used. Complete waste of money.

Excellent curl, light weight, very very curly and the girls endure for days with minimal frizz and maintenance
Flaky residue
Unless you wash your hair daily, this product leaves a white residue and makes it extremely difficult to rewet your hair to restyle it the next day. I also had white flakes in between washing that looked like dandruff. Very disappointing.
