It leaves a terrible smell
I have always tried to find products for my hair, once i seen this at ulta i wanted to try it out ! Its a okay product but the curl activator leaves such a nasty smell once applied to the hair

2C/3A curls
I used to use the Pattern set products, but I learned that it was too heavy for my 2C/3A curl pattern (except for the leave-in conditioner). I live in Southern California and the weather is pretty dry (which is why I went for Pattern). I am learning how to take care of my curls and I realized two things: 1) even if they're the same curl pattern, cultural background does affect your hair's needs and 2) this Latina product works for this Latina. The products are on the thin/watery side, so I do feel like I need to use more of the product, but I have noticed that my hair isn't as weighed down as before. For Steps 1-4, heres what I think: 1 (shampoo) & 2 (conditioner) - both smell good and clean without making my hair feel dry, but the runniness makes me feel like I need to use a lot of product 3 (curl activator) - I dont know what it does, but I do noticed a positive changd in my hair when I use it 4 (light hold gel) - works but I feel like it's a bit sticky. I feel like I need a stronger one.

Hair Type Very Curly Hair
I'm noticing more definition and volume, and my curls are lasting longer. The smell isn't great, almost like an artificial grape scent, but it fades quickly. There's no residue or flakiness. I initially tried it with the curl jelly and that made my hair feel sticky, but this has great slip and my hair feels good.
Great results but interesting smell
My hair is naturally curly so this is a nice enhancer. It is NOT greasy or gooey like many products ive used like rizo curls or OGX. Very light weight and hair is not super crunchy but a little bit but still has a lot of movement to it. The smell is okay smells better in the bottle than on my hair for some reason maybe just the mixture with my shampoo scent. I also used the liquid gel. Which i also recommend.
