I really loved it. My hair feels healthy 🧡
2C/3A Hair type
I used to use the Pattern set products, but I learned that it was too heavy for my 2C/3A curl pattern (except for the leave-in conditioner). I live in Southern California and the weather is pretty dry (which is why I went for Pattern). I am learning how to take care of my curls and I realized two things: 1) even if they're the same curl pattern, cultural background does affect your hair's needs and 2) this Latina product works for this Latina. The products are on the thin/watery side, so I do feel like I need to use more of the product, but I have noticed that my hair isn't as weighed down as before. For Steps 1-4, heres what I think: 1 (shampoo) & 2 (conditioner) - both smell good and clean without making my hair feel dry, but the runniness makes me feel like I need to use a lot of product 3 (curl activator) - I dont know what it does, but I do noticed a positive changd in my hair when I use it 4 (light hold gel) - works but I feel like it's a bit sticky. I feel like I need a stronger one.
Not for me
I thought conditioners were supposed to be thick. This conditioner is really thin and runny like it's watered down or something.
Watery and thin
Smells like lime scented bathroom air freshener in a gas station. Thin and watery and hard to coat my thick curly hair. What does stick to the hair feels softer as I rinse the hair but the smell and the texture are a no for me.
Noticeable difference during my first wash!
After using the shampoo my hair was already feeling moisturized, but after using the conditioner it felt amazing! and the smell is amazing! I definitely feel like I smell like a spicy Latina.
