Break the seal on the brush to make the bristles more flexible. To break the seal, bend the bristles gently. Line your eyes to the outer corners. Blend as much (or as little) as you want using the built-in Blending Brush or your fingers to get your desired eye look

Hard to sharpen
I cannot sharpen this. Like others have said here it is encased in plastic and I have not found a sharpener that works.

Amazing dupe for luxury kajal brands!
Until now, only the Victoria Beckham and Lisa Eldridge sharpenable eye pencils were the only ones soft enough to tightline (they practically melt on contact, so no need to apply pressure) and provide a smooth glide without hurting my upper eyelid skin. For reference, Chanel eyeliners are unusable to me, they're just too stiff and hurt; and gel liners are just fine, but not soft enough to deposit enough color with a smooth glide and to tightline without pressure and effort). I was looking for the same formula as VBB and LE in a cheaper brand, because I've had to repurchase my basic shades (black and brown) several times. I'm really happy to report that this Revlon Multiplayer Liquid Glide is the same wonderful formula and also made in Germany. I just wish that they had more shades available, particularly matte, because it seems like most have at least some shimmer, but even so, Revlon offers a more affordable option here for some shades. I bought Fortress, which is an olive green that's darker and less shimmery than VBB Sequin Green. Then, while the VBB comes with a smudging sponge, the Revlon one comes with a brush, which I prefer. I'll buy black and brown as soon as I run out of Cocoa and Black.
Easy, Smokey, fun
First off, I saw reviews about not being able to sharpen - I had no issues sharpening, just to note. Maybe its because I use with an eye primer, but these last all day! Lasted through watering eyes when I was in the wind all day even. These are smooth, soft, easy to apply, note that the bigger tip/size obviously isn't meant for details and more for smokey-ness, all over color or thick lines. The brush attached isn't anything special but I love a built in brush because I'm disorganized and can never find brushes when I need them. I have the grey and red sparkly ones and I'm happy with this for my smokey emo eye looks, so easy to slap on above and below the eye and flick out with the brush and go. Love that the product is both soft and also lasts without smudging.
Great for us who are eyeliner newbies
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I paired this eyeliner with the Revlon Glimmer Shadow for a night out in Europe, and it was a game-changer. The bronze shade is gorgeous.. just enough shimmer to stand out but still wearable for everyday looks. I got tons of compliments on my eye makeup that night. Best part? It lasted all evening through a European summer heatwave with no smudging or fading. The pencil glides on smoothly without tugging, and the built-in smudger lets you go from sharp lines to a softer, smoky effect. It's versatile, dependable, and a must-have in my travel makeup bag.

Smudges a bit
The liner itself has a nice smooth consistency, however it smudged a bit too much for me. Received the product for free to test out.
