Semi matte but lips stay moist (Mulberry)

I received this lipstick in Mulberry, and I could not be happier with my first foray into the new ColorLuxe line. The color is as described (cool medium-dark pink), but I would add that the pink leans slightly toward red, and I detect a whisper of violet undertone. More elegant and refined than many... pink lipsticks, I'd call Mulberry an antique rose with no notable warmth (no beige or brown). For context, I am very fair (jane iredale Ivory) and cool toned with medium contrast (dark ash blond hair/medium ash brows), and this color adds oomph without being too dramatic. I'd feel comfortable wearing Mulberry in any scenario. It even looks good in full sunlight. The creaminess settles into a satin-matte finish, where an infinitesimal amount of ultra-fine microshimmer adds dimension, giving the result a subtle glow, making lips look plump. There was minimal fading after 6 hours, no migration outside the vermilion border, and zero settling in lip lines. Unlike many satin or matte lipsticks, my lips felt nourished the entire time--I never gave a thought to adding a layer of lip balm on top. After eating, lips required only a touch up, not a do over. ColorLuxe is a worthy replacement (reformulation?) for the discontinued PureMoist Lipstick. I would be thrilled if you re-promoted the color Mary in this new formula--or maybe you did, and it's now called Passionfruit. I considered removing 1 star for not being in a traditional (bullet) shape, but I like this new formula so much, I didn't have the heart to dock it for packaging. Plus the lipstick earned back that star for containing peptides. I absolutely will try more of the cool-toned shades.
