Finally a Wella toner that doesn't turn your hair

I was a little more than skeptical when I received this toner, but I'm pleased to say that I was extremely happy with the results. Although I will admit that I did cheat a little bit. Due to my hair not being a level 10 blonde at the time I received this, I was probably a 6 at the time, I decided to... use a 30 volume developer, instead of the level 10 developer that came with it. I did this because I knew that if I used the level 10 developer, it would have absolutely NO effect on my hair. It basically wouldn't neutralize the brassiness I had in my hair at the time and I also wanted this toner to have a lifting effect on my hair as well so I could achieve the "Pearl Gray" shade that is to be expected with this toner. Since my roots had grown out about an inch since my last lightening, I applied the toner only to the roots for the first 20 minutes. I then diluted the toner with a shampoo that had a low pH. I did this so that I could apply the rest of the toner to my ends for the next 20 minutes, and both my ends and roots would then lift at the same level for the duration of the time. I then rinsed and washed, YES I WASHED IT!(It's actually important to completely wash off the toner in your hair immediately after the toning process in order to ensure that you eliminate all the unwanted undertones in your hair, get rid of any toner residue, and prevent hair damage!!) and conditioned my hair. I used my Olaplex line since that's what I use whenever I color, tone and basically almost, if not every, time I shampoo and condition my hair. I also used a deep conditioner, Olaplex No 8 and left it in longer than I would normally leave it in my type of hair. I usually only leave it in for 5 minutes, but this time I left it for 10 minutes. I was still stunned by the results after all the work I did and changes I made! 🤩💯😍 It came out absolutely gorgeous 🥰 I couldn't be happier with how my hair looks and feels. I've used the Wella liquid toner before and it turned my hair to STRAW and no matter what I did, it still looked and felt like garbage. But my hair is still healthy, shiny and bouncy after using the Wella Color Charm Toner. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to give their hair a makeover, without doing anything as drastic as actually coloring it a different shade.
