The MAC color excess pencil the name of the color is glide or die as rich black color. It has the consistency of a gel. Feels like a crayon when you glided over your lid. Pros: Color payoff is great. Gentle on the skin and even though it took a little work, it did apply and stay on the waterline. Doesn't smudge too much which is great, but also means it's not blendable. Cons: the product can be a little thick if you want to apply enough to be bold on the waterline...

This eyeliner goes on smoothly and stays where you put it even if you have watery eyes sometimes.
Good on sensitive lids
My eyelids are very sensitive. I am prone to styes. Most eye makeup irritates my eyes. I search for "opthalmologist tested" and "sensitive eyes". That lead me to MAC. I bought one of their shadow palettes a few months ago and it doesn't irritate my eyes. So I decided to try this pencil liner. It doesn't irritate my eyes and it's easy to use. I can put it on the water line without irritation.
