Let me preface this by saying, yes, the purple helped tone my highlighted hair within the first use. I only use the conditioner, and I only wash my hair twice a week. Subtle but amazing-used both shampoo and conditioner

I used both the shampoo and conditioner. I left each on for 3 minutes. I took the time to wring my hair of excess water and I used a comb to distribute evenly after applying. I do not color or bleach my hair, done on natural white/grey/blonde. My hair was pretty dirty in before shots-4 days since last shampoo/condition.
Something changed
Ive used this brand/product for at least 10 years. Ive always loved the way it makes my blonde look. But something has changed. Last year i notuced my hair started to feel very gummy. I had to use clarifying shampoo to get all the build up off. Stopped using it for almost a year then bought it again. Used it once and immediately my hair is gummy again. I dont use too much and rinse very well. I hate that this is the product doing it bc i really do like it. But it seems the formula has changed.
My Go-To Conditioner to Tone Brassiness

This gives me the perfect color to tone the brassiness in my hair. It doesn't over do it like some of the other brands which gives me an ashy tone. I always try the smaller bottles first, and just bought the regular size in this product!
Don't do it
I rarely leave reviews, but when I do…I wanted to love this shampoo and conditiner but I did not. I used it three times. I wash my hair on Wednesdays and Saturdays so didnt even use it everyday and wow immediatley did it begin to dry out and I noticed way more hair loss in the drain than normal. Do yourself a favor and just dont. Redken or Kenra are better. Not worth damaging your hair

It works ok. Nothing like it used to be. I don't know if they changed the formula or not, but it doesn't work as good as it did in the older bottles. I would buy the olaplex purple conditioner. It works 10 times better. But try it for yourself and never go by reviews. What works for one person, might not work the same way for you.
