Beautiful Packaging, Lackluster Product

The very best yet also the worst part about the 4-In-1 Cloud Cream is its packaging. It's definitely "shelfie" worthy, but that's the only great thing I can say about this product. However, jar packaging is always a bad idea. The ingredients within the product are unstable when packaged this way, it... is unsanitary, and most of the time too much product is scooped out. This product did not have any negative effect on my skin and I will continue to use it until it's empty. There's zero chance I would spend any amount of money on this. The true reason for this is about 75% part due to the jar packaging and the remaining 25% due to the formula. The formula is naturally made up mostly of silicones/water/texture enhancers. The middle of the list (which realistically accounts for about 5% of the formula) has the hero ingredients (ceramides, retinol, lactic acid, shea butter), and the later ingredients listed I am assuming account for the weird scent (which admittedly I assumed was simply an added fragrance prior to viewing the ingredients list). These consist of a ton of fruit extracts: raspberry, lavender, cranberry, pomegranate, lemon, grapefruit, vanilla, pineapple, apple, rose, and grape. (No wonder the scent is so odd!) Despite this, it's not overpowering—just noticeably strange (my first thought was "plastic"). I'm about 75% of my jar at this point in time and overall enjoy the product. It's lightweight and plays nice under makeup and before bedtime. Note: the directions on the packaging direct the user to "shake well before using", which for some reason feels weird with a jar. Pur, if you're out there—change the packaging and then we'll talk! The formula is a B+, but has potential to be an A- if you fix the weird plastic scent and switch to more ingredient-stable packaging!
