What Has Happened To This Cream??
I used to love this cream. It was perfect for so many things. Now all the tubes are defective and runny water shoots out of the tube as the ingredients separate. I am wondering if this is due to the addition of the newer ingredients (probiotic or something). I have tried three different tubes and all have been defective. I hope someone at Avene fixes this issue. It used to be great.
Always watery
I have sworn by cicalfate for years. The last few I have ordered from ulta have all been watery. When I go to squeeze the lotion out I get a handful of water. It's annoying and messy.
Insanely high quality product
High quality cream. A lot of the bad reviews are coming from the separation that might happen with this product. It's normal given it's imported, all you need to do is seal it and give it a couple good shakes. It'll solidify again. Easy fix.
Perfect for Sensitive Skin
I have used Avene products fior years & their barrier cream is amazing. I sensitive skin and its the perfect nighttime moisturizer. A little goes a long way, so a tube last for awhile. All the people complaining about it being watery just don't understand the product. It has thermal spring water in it, so when you first get it, just massage the tube for about a minute before opening & its fine after that.
Sadly a Watery Mess
I received a sample of this at the dermatologist and loved it so I ordered a full sized tube. The cream i just received is actually just a watery mess with gross looking solids mixed in. Do not order.
