I love the larger plates! Speeds up the process
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I have pretty curly hair, so I find it easier to use a dryer brush and go in with a straighter to really smooth it out. I really enjoy using the ghd straighter! I like how it gives you the best heat setting for your hair. This is the max size and the bigger plates really help me speed up while doing my hair. My hair feels soft, smooth and shiny after!

I received this straitener for free for my honest review, I love it! 😻 Can't wait to let everyone Know how darn smooth my hair was afterwards. The cord was super long, and I loved how fast it heat up! I have thick shoulder length hair and it took me about 25 min to do my whole head! Super fast!
An upgrade!
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I have curly hair and I have tried many straighteners, but I will say that I do enjoy the GHD chronos max styler. It is specifically for long, thick, curly hair and I think they did a great job with the details of the cord being able to maneuver your every move so it doesn't get in the way. My hair doesn't feel "crisp" after I use this and it is nice and smooth with a help of a hair oil. The burners do reach 365 degrees but there is no breakage. For someone with thick curly hair. I would give this a try. I also noticed less frizz, which is great!
Good straightener

Great styler, but not for thick curls
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I recently tested the ghd Chronos Max Professional Styler and approached it with high expectations, especially as someone with 3B curls who relies on tools that can deliver both efficiency and real straightening power. There are definitely strengths to this styler. It heats up very quickly, which is a major convenience, and the plates are exceptionally smooth. I appreciated that it didn't snag or pull my hair at all. However, in terms of performance on my curl pattern, it didn't fully meet my needs. I wasn't able to get close enough to the root to achieve a sleek, polished finish, and I had to go over each section several times just to reach a straight-ish result. With no option to increase the temperature for a stronger heat setting, it simply didn't provide the level of power required to straighten my 3B hair effectively. Considering the price point, I wouldn't recommend this tool for curly girls with tighter textures. In my opinion, the ghd Chronos Max Professional Styler is far better suited for hair types ranging from 1A to 2C, where less heat and fewer passes are needed to achieve a smooth style.
